Oakland Bridal Portraits
Sarah and Oliver were seriously one of the cutest couples I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing! These two got all dolled up to take bridal portraits in Oakland to celebrate their upcoming nuptials. They will be having a celebration of their marriage this summer back in China and wanted to have portraits to take with them. They’ll also be having the ceremony here in the states at Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens this summer- so stay tuned! Sarah noted, “I’m planning our wedding as if it is a work of art, which reflects tastes, culture, and happiness of our family”. What a beautiful sentiment!
Their Story
Sarah and Oliver met when they were sophomores pursuing undergraduate studies in Beijing. Their teacher for their English Speaking class had an open house at her home where students were invited to fellowship and make cookies together.
Sarah shared some beautiful thoughts as to why she & Oliver make the perfect pair and fell in love. She stated that Oliver is extrovert. He is confident, always brings energy to everyone, and makes her laugh. She said that Oliver loves her deeply in his heart and cares about her in every perspective in life. She also noted that Oliver is smart and persistent; he works hard to pursue his dreams. And they love listening to music together, although Sarah noted that Oliver always sings out of tune! They truly are a beautiful couple!
