Carnegie Music Hall Foyer Wedding
Janel & Nick had a beautiful wedding this Saturday at the Carnegie Music Hall Foyer (one of my personal favorite venues) and ceremony at the incredible Saint Paul Cathedral. Pittsburgh weather in April did NOT disappoint as the sun was shining all day. The day had a very classic and elegant feel sprinkled with pops of pewter and green. Janel & Nick were two kindhearted souls, and I loved spending the day with them!
Their Story
From the Bride: We met at Mario’s in Shadyside! One Coors Lite and we talked the entire night … I think that was the last time we stayed out until the bars closed. Nick proposed in Frick Park on April 8, on the premise that we were going to the Park cafe for drinks before dinner. It was just me and him in the gardens, and he told me that he knew he wanted to marry me when we took pictures a year ago with his family before his younger brother’s prom at that same spot. Afterward, there was a surprise party at his parent’s house in Highland Park with all of our family and closest friends. People had flown and driven in from all over to celebrate with us. It was the best part and brought me to complete tears… which is hard for me to do (easy for Nick hehe). I have to say knowing Nick kept the secret that long still impresses me.
