One of the best feelings on a wedding day (for a photographer) is finding the perfect location! I was scouting the morning of and found this old antique shop. I stopped in to see if they would let us photograph on the property. The owner ended up being the nicest guy ever and gave me a tour of the place. He was going on about how the building was to be torn-down and how he would love to have it included in photos. He then takes me to this giant old warehouse with light pouring in and just industrial grit everywhere, it was perfect. It was also home to the infamous YINZER graffiti.
Julia & Sean were up for anything and had decided to get photos done before the ceremony. We stopped by the warehouse and even found ourselves at Klavon’s Ice Cream Parlor for photos (really just ice cream!)
The wedding was at a friend’s home in Highland Park and just a fun intimate collection of close friends and family. Tacos from Smoke for dinner and a beautiful cake (delicious too) for dessert.
I also have to mention this confetti exit!! It’s biodegradable of course, but if you see some red/blue little papers floating around the city… it wasn’t us ;)
Congrats again to Julia & Sean and a big thank you for sharing your wedding day with us!
