Also, here is a little background about how they met. Classic love story! Nate and Ali met while completing their undergraduate study at the University of Pittsburgh. They met during their junior year (2010) on Halloween weekend. When they met, Nate was dressed as Billy Mays (yes, Oxy Clean Billy Mays). Ali still thought he was cute anyway. They continued to run into each other through mutual friends throughout college.

Nate and Ali met while completing their undergraduate study at the University of Pittsburgh. They met during their junior year (2010) on Halloween weekend. In 2012, while Nate was in law school and Ali was in graduate school, Nate contacted Ali telling her that their mutual friends from college would be in town and inviting her to meet them for dinner. Ali couldn’t make it, so Nate suggested that they go to dinner alone sometimes. They quickly made plans to go to Harris Grill in Shadyside the next week. Ali remembers thinking that it “wasn’t a date” and remembers talking to her roommate at the time, Julie, about that. This was the first time that Ali and Nate had spent any time together by themselves, so they both were nervous. They hit it off immediately and discussed their common love of craft beer and sports. When Ali got home, she talked with Julie again and came to the conclusion that it was in fact, a date.
