Kelsey & Zacari

Kelsey & Zacari had a beautiful wedding at the Carnegie Museum! If you don’t know, this is one of my absolute favorite Pittsburgh venues. I would say the majority of couples opt for the Music Hall Foyer (that gorgeous dark marble room!) BUT not Kelsey & Zac! They mixed it up and had their reception in the Hall of Sculpture–which I’m so glad they did! It has such a killer bright and clean look, you’re going to love it!

Kelsey and Zac opted for a first look (pro move!) and we had tons of time to run around the museum for photos. If you’re considering a museum wedding, the exhibits are open until 5p… so just keep that in mind when working up the timeline ;) We stopped by the Hillman Hall of Minerals and Gems too! Don’t sleep on it!

Speaking of uniqueness, the couple opted for a ceremony on the Grand Staircase with Kelsey making an epic 3-floor procession! Every guest had an amazing view and if I could, I would recommend this for those who want the WOW factor!

All in all the day was a blast and we were so thrilled to be a part of it! They even brought in an artist to document their first dance!

Their Story

(from the couple) We have a relationship that allows us to push and support one another in any given situation. We are each other’s rock and we know we will always be able to depend on the other. We need each other to fulfill ourselves, and we love that we are able to be that person that the other one needs. The proposal was a total surprise! Zac incorporated my whole family into the proposal. We were on a family “staycation” and went to dinner at Altius on Mt Washington. After dinner my brother suggested we go to the more private overlook across from Monterey Bay. My family was taking a picture of the two of us and he dropped down to one knee and proposed.
