Alexandra & Dillon
Alexandra & Dillon had a beautiful Fall wedding at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden! If you haven’t been, this venue is beautiful! It’s rustic and romantic and a perfect wooded oasis!
Being that it was November, the weather was a bit chilly, but we had sunshine!! They must have brought it with them from Alabama :)
The sun was setting as we arrived at the venue, but with some quick thinking we were able to get the best light and locations of the day! Big thanks to the Botanic Garden team and their zippy golf-cart and lovely backdrops.
The reception was WILD! We included some of our favorite outtakes towards the bottom of this post, hope you love them all.

Their Story
(from the couple) It all started in a college football town known as T-Town “aka Tuscaloosa” back in 2016. We had recently started classes back after a long winter break, when we each decided to go to a bar known as Gallettes on the Strip in Tuscaloosa with each of our friends. I was playing darts with my friends when I noticed a handsome man standing at the bar with his buddies. If anyone knows me, I am not afraid of being the one to start a conversation. I decided to walk up to Dillon that night and spark a conversation. Before I knew it, I was giving him my number. I knew this was a man that I wanted to see again and wasn’t afraid to take the chance. Not knowing if I would ever hear from him, I waited the entire night and next day until I FINALLY heard from him. And from that January night on, Dillon became my best friend.
As Alex mentioned, I FINALLY contacted her, as I couldn’t have contacted her immediately because everyone knows that takes away from the excitement! But I knew I had to see this stunning woman again, so I waited patiently (enough to drive her crazy) and messaged her in hopes that she hadn’t given up on me yet! With a little luck and charm (of course), I managed to get her to agree to go on a first date with me. I took her out to dinner on our first date and after that, the rest is history. We began hanging around the same friends and introducing each other to our respected families. As days went by, we gradually started spending more and more time together until it became painful to not see one another after a reasonable amount of time. We spent the next year or so hanging out with friends and enjoying the college life together up until Alex made the move to Huntsville, one semester before I graduated. This was by far the hardest and most testing time period that Alex and I had ever experienced in our relationship. However, this was also one of the most successful times in our relationship because we grew stronger and closer than ever before. I knew from this, that we had a bond that could never be broken and that this was the woman that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. She understands me like no one ever has and always stands by my side, supporting me through even the worst of times. She is the most loving, caring, nurturing and most beautiful woman I have ever met and I am beyond lucky to call her my future wife.
I knew Dillon was the one I wanted to spend my forever with in December 2016. Dillon had come over to my house one evening when I was making decorated sugar cookies to take home for Christmas and he was studying for his upcoming final. If anyone has been around me when I am in the kitchen, you know that there is a lot of what we like to call “love” that goes into everything I make because I want it to be perfect. Well, that was also the case that one night decorating sugar cookies. Let’s just say things weren’t going as planned and Dillon could see the frustration in my face. He got up from his studies, took me by the shoulders and looked into my eyes and knew exactly what to say to calm me down. When I noticed the effect that man had on me and how he has the ability to stay calm and collected when my Italian anger is at its worst, I knew this man was the man I was going to marry. He is the most supporting, loving and caring man I have ever met and I am beyond lucky that I get to call him my future husband.
