1. Your name interests me. I am decended from a Mabon family who lived in a village called Midlem in the Scottish Borders through the 19th century. I know some emigrated to America in the 19th and 20th century (some to Connecticut) In fact the American golfer Scot Mabon Hough is from this family. His grandmother was my mothers cousin. Where were your ancestors from? Would be interested if here was a connection. My name is Eric Davidson and I am 83 and live in Edinburgh Scotland. My mother was an Agnes Mabon Bell and her mother Agnes Mabon. Her sister was the grandmother of Eric Liddell the athlete who was featured in the film “Chariots of Fire” Handsome photographs !
