It was another rainy Saturday, but you wouldn’t have guessed it from watching Kara & Jeff! We had a blast shooting around Pittsburgh and ended up at J Verno Studios for a beautiful wedding reception. The photo booth there is so much fun and you could tell every guest had a great time. Thank you both for sharing your day with us and thanks for taking a look!

Brianne knew Jennifer and I before we even knew each other!! That’s why were were so pumped when she asked us to shoot her engagement photos!

We were once again blessed with gorgeous light and took advantage of all that Pittsburgh’s Point State Park had to offer. We shot a little in the Gateway Center Plaza and then under the Point Park bridge… fortunately for us there was no water, just some really cool stone designs (which made for a beautiful background).

Angela & Carson are such incredible people! We had a blast photographing their wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better couple to start the season off with. We could have asked for better weather though…

Despite the wind and rain however, everything went smashingly (new word points). We love photographing weddings because there is such incredible energy and photographic GOLD as we call it. We started at Angela’s house and met up with the guys at the church in New Kensington. We found shelter from the rain under the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and Angela made sure we had a GIANT umbrella to work with. Fortunately the rainy weather subsided by the time we reached Oakland and Soliders & Sailors. We grabbed some shots on the stairs and found some gorgeous red trees!

This was our first time shooting at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum and as you may know, we love new venues! The night was filled with fun, laughter and breakdancing!! Yep.

Mom and Dad actually had us take the maternity photos back in November. We were thrilled to see what a cute little baby that belly bump turned into! We love photographing families in their home, it opens up a whole new level of personality… and for the babies, we believe it makes the whole experience just a little more comfortable.

Sheila & Dave picked a perfect day for photos! It was a touch cold… but the flurries made for some incredibly beautiful images.

We started shooting in their home (which is so much fun and lends to an incredible amount of personality in your pictures, highly recommended!) They also had this sweet library and wonderful window light. Sheila is a musician as well, and they had a nice deal of instruments around the house… and a sweet gramophonefrom the early 1900s.

Anyway, I had a blast and love their look. Enjoy the photos!

We started the shoot at their house and had a blast finding things to do and awesome backdrops, can you say Jenga and Christmas lights!! When the sun started setting we headed outside and they grabbed a few runs on the sled before making the snowman. Though the snowman didn’t come to life, we still had a great time and got some cool shots.

We caught the sunset and even had a vintage sled! We grabbed a few more shots in the Marriott courtyard and had a blast with all of the guests on the dance floor!

After Disney, we cruised around the Eastern Caribbean on the Carnival Dream. If you have never been on a cruise, I personally think it’s one of the most relaxing ways to travel. We stopped off and explored a few of the Islands, our favorites being St John and St Maarten and of course took tons pictures the whole time. We had a blast and it was so refreshing to see new sights and sounds… all we need now is to book some weddings here! *hint hint
