It was another rainy Saturday, but you wouldn’t have guessed it from watching Kara & Jeff! We had a blast shooting around Pittsburgh and ended up at J Verno Studios for a beautiful wedding reception. The photo booth there is so much fun and you could tell every guest had a great time. Thank you both for sharing your day with us and thanks for taking a look!

Brianne knew Jennifer and I before we even knew each other!! That’s why were were so pumped when she asked us to shoot her engagement photos!

We were once again blessed with gorgeous light and took advantage of all that Pittsburgh’s Point State Park had to offer. We shot a little in the Gateway Center Plaza and then under the Point Park bridge… fortunately for us there was no water, just some really cool stone designs (which made for a beautiful background).

Angela & Carson are such incredible people! We had a blast photographing their wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better couple to start the season off with. We could have asked for better weather though…

Despite the wind and rain however, everything went smashingly (new word points). We love photographing weddings because there is such incredible energy and photographic GOLD as we call it. We started at Angela’s house and met up with the guys at the church in New Kensington. We found shelter from the rain under the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and Angela made sure we had a GIANT umbrella to work with. Fortunately the rainy weather subsided by the time we reached Oakland and Soliders & Sailors. We grabbed some shots on the stairs and found some gorgeous red trees!

This was our first time shooting at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum and as you may know, we love new venues! The night was filled with fun, laughter and breakdancing!! Yep.
